We had a lovely wedding shower at our beautiful apartment complex clubhouse and pool, everyone had a blast chilling out to a cool 50's rockabilly theme!

The groomsmen have competed honorably in Feats of Manliness to determine which will become best man, we are proud to announce that Andrew Miles will be our best man, followed closely by Jim Curtis as Commander at arms.

We booked the venue! As some of you may know the venue has been a bit of a struggle for us, we found one that we loved but couldn't afford to book it and while we were saving up for it, someone else booked it for our date, but the struggle is over! We found a very nice venue and my parents really came through for us, they paid the deposit as our wedding gift! We are so lucky to have such wonderful families!

Nathan and I went to the bridal extravaganza and had a blast getting tons of ideas and meeting loads of local vendors.

We bought the dress!!! And by we I mean my parents came for a visit from Pennsylvania and bought me my wedding gown, shoes and veil. I was so lucky to find the perfect dress with my mom there, an experience that every girl should have!

Nathan proposed via flash mob with the help of his family and our
friendsat Market Square in the Woodlands, where we had our first date.
The Venue
We are now planning a lovely outdoor ceremony at the Courtyard on St. James with a super fun reception to follow in their ballroom, a great location in the heart of the galleria area of Houston! The Courtyard is also a restaurant for lunch Monday through Friday so in booking them, we've also booked our caterer and let me tell you, their menu is AMAZING! You are all in for a treat when it comes to the food here!

The Accomodations
We have booked a room block at the amazing Hotel Omni just about a mile from our wedding venue. The rooms are gorgeous and are at a discounted rate of $124 a night if you tell them you're with the Shreve/Winston Wedding and book before July 30th! The Photographer
Our ceremony and reception will be photographed by none other than the incredibly talented Scott Church. I am so excited to work with him, he's been a huge source of inspiration for me for several years now and I think it's spectacular that my photography idol is the one to capture our most special day! Our engagement photographers are the incredibly Roberto and Lori Ganoza.
The Ring
Our perfect engagement ring is one of a kind and was custom
designed with the help of Rick at Diamond Cutters International.
